For those of us who are already more than familiar with ‘Harry Potter’, this is more than a given, but it can be a bit confusing if you’re approaching it for the first time. Between the titles not being numbered and the existence of prequels, it’s understandable not knowing where to start if it’s your first time in the ‘Wizarding World’.
Can you see ‘Fantastic Beasts’ before the original? Yes, but you’ll miss all the references made to the other saga, plus the prequels use mythology and jargon that is already taken for granted, so it is advisable to watch the original saga before getting into this new episode.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack for the first film in the Harry Potter saga, titled Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, by Chris Columbus, released on October 30, 2001. It was composed by John Williams.
The composition of the musical themes of the album was carried out by the American composer John Williams, who worked at his homes in Los Angeles, California and Tanglewood, to finally record the repertoire at Air Lyndhurst and Abbey Road studios in London, during the month of August 2001. During his work, Williams created several leitmotifs, most notably the Voldemort and Hogwarts pieces, and “Hedwig’s Theme”, which was to be incorporated into the final material only after “everyone ended up liking it.”[1] On December 2001, Williams recorded the first of several leitmotifs for the film.
On December 14, 2001, the album was certified by the Canadian association CRIA with a gold record for having sold over 50,000 copies during that period.[2] Williams’ contributions to the franchise continued with the films Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

After Grindelwald is captured, the criminal makes good on his promise and escapes arrest. His followers have begun to multiply after the events of the previous film. His premise? The threat of Grindelwald continues to strengthen. Dumbledore, unable to confront him directly because of an ancient blood pact that binds them, organizes Newt and a group of wizards and witches, (and Jacob, the Muggle, of course), to carry out a dangerous mission that will pretend to put an end to Grindelwald’s political uprising, who is in the race to become the new Supreme Head of the magical world.
Life could not be more unhappy. However, one day he receives a letter that changes everything. He has been admitted to Hogwarts, a school of magic. He will begin a series of adventures with his new friends, Ron and Hermione (Rupert Grint, Emma Watson), within the confines of the castle, where more enemies await them than they could have imagined.
